Canzon
(2001)(2 Bb Trpts.,Hn.,Trom.,Tuba) - This is an adaptation of the
second part of a 1999 composition for Viol Consort. It is written
in the style of Gabrieli with slightly more modern harmony and
the use of 5/4 for the contrast sections to the standard canzon
4/4. This work is recorded by the Hartford Brass Quintet on the Emeritus label. Duration 4:00 Grade 4.
